1. Introduction
W¿LL ("we," "our," or "us") is a nightlife discovery platform operated by Bokaq Inc. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and protect your personal information when you use our mobile application and website (collectively, the "Service").
2. Information We Collect
Information you provide: account details (name, email, username), profile information, ratings, reviews, photos, and venue submissions.
Automatically collected: location data (GPS, with permission), device information, usage data, and push notification tokens.
Website analytics & session recordings: On our website we use Microsoft Clarity and Vercel Analytics to understand how visitors interact with our pages (scrolling, clicks, and time on page) through anonymized, aggregated session recordings and heatmaps. Clarity automatically masks text you type — including any email entered in the waitlist form — so these recordings capture behavior, not the content of what you enter.
From third parties: If you sign in via Google or Apple, we receive your name and email from that provider.
3. How We Use Your Information
- To provide and improve the Service
- To verify ratings using GPS location
- To send notifications you have opted into
- To maintain safety and prevent fraud
- To comply with applicable laws
4. How We Share Your Information
We do not sell your personal information. We share data only with service providers (Supabase, Cloudinary, Expo, Railway, Vercel, Resend, Microsoft Clarity) under data processing agreements, or as required by law.
5. Children's Privacy
W¿LL is intended for users 18 years of age or older. We do not knowingly collect information from minors.
6. Data Retention
We retain your data as long as your account is active. Upon deletion, personal data is removed within 30 days except where retention is legally required.
7. How to Delete Your Account
You can permanently delete your account and personal data at any time, directly in the app: open Settings → Delete Account and confirm. This removes your account and associated personal information (name, email, phone number, photos, and profile) and cannot be undone.
If you no longer have access to the app, email privacy@whatsitlookinglike.com from the email address associated with your account and we will delete it for you. Deletions are completed within 30 days, except where limited data must be retained to comply with legal obligations.
8. Your Rights
You may request access, correction, deletion, or portability of your data at any time by contacting privacy@whatsitlookinglike.com.
9. Security
We use industry-standard security measures including HTTPS encryption, encrypted credential storage, and row-level database security.
